Import Improvements, New Theme and More…

The focus for today’s release is improvements in data import. Both at the time of setting up a new account and when new transactions are downloaded automatically at intervals. Overall Strategy Shift – Batch Imports – Improved Response Time and Fault Tolerance Over the last couple of months a number of customers reported transactions missing from Putler. Putler is twice as fast now!

Putler is twice as fast now!

If you have authorized Putler to download PayPal transactions on your behalf, Putler will now get your data in half the time… We introduced “No-API-Needed-Allow-Putler-To-Pull-Your-PayPal-Data” support in August 2012. Instead of Putler making direct requests to PayPal servers (which requires your PayPal API information), the new method routes requests via our server. We use our API credentials to get transactions from PayPal and pass them back to Putler. This makes things a lot simpler for you! A user experience goal...

Putler’s analytical powers is prodigious – says Stefan Molyneux

Stefan Molyneux, host of the largest and most popular philosophy show on the web – Freedomain Radio – says Putler is indispensable, and its analytical powers is prodigious. A wonderful tool for reviewing and managing PayPal information  I use PayPal for donations for my philosophy show Freedomain Radio, and since aggregating PayPal data  is a very time-consuming process, I generally only find out at the end of the month how I’ve been doing. A friend of mine suggested that I check out this program Putler, which provides real-time...

Putler 2.5 lets you group charts by weeks, begins Shopify support…

We just released Putler 2.5!! View Charts / Stats by Days / Weeks / Months or Years Putler decides the granularity of charts automatically. If you are seeing sales data for a month, it will automatically draw the chart with daily stats. When the time range goes higher, it automatically switches to monthly and yearly stats. This is very useful, but users have been asking for “zooming in” on these charts. They wanted to see daily stats even if the date range spanned across three months. Instead of complicating things with a zoom in /...

Whoa! You don’t need PayPal API info to use Putler anymore!!

One of the biggest hurdle people have in using Putler is getting their PayPal API information and setting it up in Putler. It’s not a complex thing, but involves a lot of jargon and a lot of PayPal users fail to understand them. That’s the reason our support page about getting PayPal API information is the most popular page on the Internet (okay, okay, the most popular when it comes to finding your PayPal API username, password and key)… So we removed that whole hurdle altogether! Starting with version 2.3, Putler can...
