Putler logs important activities and errors to a file named “Putler.log” file that logs errors and activities. We may ask you to share this file with us if some functionality in Putler is not working as expected and usual trouble shooting does not lead to a solution.
Here’s where you can locate the Putler.log file on your computer.
On Mac OS X: /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/com.appsmagnet.putler/Local Store/log/ Important: Your “Library” folder may be hidden in Finder, and you may not see it even when you go to your “username” folder. The easiest way to locate the Library folder is to open Finder, click on the “Go” menu in the top bar, then press the “Alt / Option” key. This will show “Library” in the menu options. You can click on that and open “Library” folder, then navigate to Preferences – com.appsmagnet.putler – Local Store. Here are some other methods of opening the Library folder.
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\com.appsmagnet.putler\Local Store\log\
On Windows 7: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\com.appsmagnet.putler\Local Store\log\ Important: The AppData folder is hidden by default. Go to Control Pane -> Appearance and Personalization -> Folder Options. Click on “Show Hidden Files and Folder”. Then Click on the radio button which says “Show hidden files, folders and drives”. Click on “Apply” and then “OK”. You will then be able to see the folder.
On Linux: /home/[username]/.appdata/com.appsmagnet.putler/Local Store/log/
