How to segment orders/sales based on location?

Putler processes all your sales data and categorizes it based on various parameters. One such category is By Location.

Using Putler, you can drill down your Sales data in-depth. You can filter by Continent, Country, State, County, and Street.

Steps to filter sales data based on location

  • Login to Putler.
  • Select Sales Dashboard.
  • Adjust the date picker
  • On the left-hand side, you will find the Drilldowns.
  • Select Any location under the Location drill down
  • Keep going in-depth until you reach the location of your choice
  • When you click on the location, Putler will pull in all the sales that came in from that location for the selected date period.
  • Export this list or simply analyze the data within Putler.

  3. Create FB lookalike audience
  4. Send out targeted emails

How to segment sales/orders based on products?

Putler lets you filter sales based on Products. You can select either a single product or a group of products from the Product Drilldown. Take a look at the steps below -

Steps to filter sales data based on product

  • Login to Putler.
  • Select Sales Dashboard
  • Adjust the date picker
  • On the left-hand side, check the Drilldowns
  • Select the Product drill down
  • Select one or more products based on your choice
  • Once selected, Putler will pull the sales for the selected products and display them in the list view on the right.
  • You can then export this list as a CSV.

How to segment sales based on order status?

There are multiple order statuses like - created, completed, pending, refunded, disputed etc. Putler recognizes every order and check the current order status of that order. It then categorizes these orders based on their respective statuses.

Store owners can use Putler to filter orders based on their order status.

Steps to filter orders based on order status

  • Login to Putler.
  • Select Sales Dashboard.
  • On the left-hand side, there is an Order filter -> Select your Order status ->Then data will come based on the selected Order Status.

Ways to use the order status filter

  1. Send out targeted emails based on the order status. For example: Export all the orders that were refunded and ask for a refund.

  2. Monitor health of your business - You can monitor the order status and the quantity of order under each status. Incase there is an increase or decrease in the quantity, you can check what's working and what's not and make amends.

    For example: Suppose there are approx 10 orders under the order status - refunded. And suddenly this shoots up to 25. It is an alarming sign. Whereas, if there are approx 50 orders completed every month and suddenly this number shoots to 100 for the current month, it is a good sign.

  3. Watch out for disputes - Putler provides an order filter called 'Disputes'. So incase, there is a dispute that's raised, you can see which order is disputed and then take appropriate measures to win that dispute.

How to segment orders based on amount range?

Putler looks at your entire sales data and categorizes it as different amount ranges. Using this filter, you can figure out your most money making amount range.

You can use this information in a couple of ways:

  1. Reprice products - Reduce or increase prices of products and bring them to the most popular amount range.
  2. Pricing sweetspot - Introduce new products within the most popular amount range.

Steps to filter orders based on amount range

  • Select Sales Dashboard
  • Adjust the date picker
  • On the left-hand side, check the Drilldowns
  • Select the Amount Range drill down
  • Select the amount range based on your choice
  • Once selected, Putler will pull the sales that fall in the selected amount range and display them in the list view on the right.
  • You can then export this list as a CSV
