Anish Nair

Anish has led the technical side of Putler, the eCommerce analytics tool that pulls sales, customer and payment data together from PayPal, Stripe, WooCommerce, Shopify and more, for over a decade. That means he has seen, up close, every way store data can disagree with itself: payouts that don't match orders, refunds that skew revenue, currencies that don't add up, and dashboards that look right but aren't.

He is a developer at heart and won't accept a number until he understands how it was produced. He comes at a problem from several angles, works through the details most people skip, and keeps going until the solution is simpler than the problem looked. When he writes about analytics, customer segmentation or lifetime value, he explains the 'how' underneath, so you can judge a metric for yourself instead of taking a dashboard's word for it.

Before technology, he played football and table tennis professionally, which left him with a competitor's discipline and a habit of always improving. These days he's also a street photographer, drawn to people, movement and the stories hiding in ordinary moments - the same eye for what everyone else walks past.
